I would say the hardest thing about being a blogger with lots of picture taking being involved is the awkward-ness of taking pictures of yourself all the time. I, for one, am not extremely comfortable in front of the camera...people staring at me as they walk by is probably the most nerve-wrecking thing to me. (Still learning the selfie-game)
However, I really like sharing my lifestyle with yall.. & so this is why I do what I do.
This particular photo op was taken after a brunch at Perch (deliiish btw). I wanted a pic at the sign but there was construction going on in the background & my friend was like, "Karishma there is so much shit behind you this is not good for pictures!" And my response was, "I don't care! I want to remember this brunch place forever!"
We crossed the street to the Pershing Square. Amdist the art and beautiful opportunity for photo ops, this park smelled like a public restroom that hasn't been cleaned for years and it was almost unbearable to stand there for 5 minutes to take pictures. It was really insane & borderline torturous! #shitbloggershavetodoforgoodpix
After standing with my scarf on for like 5-10 pix, I ask my friend, "what can I do differently?? Should I take off my scarf??"
Before she even said "NO" I was already there. But hey, this picture turned out good!
When I take pictures like this with scenes in the background I have this moral dilemma: Should show you guys the scenery orr should I crop it all out to show you guys my 'fit. I am obsessed with city backgrounds so you can see what my choice was here.
