I never blogged about this 'fit because I was embarrassed that we didn't take pix outside. I went to hang with a friend and before I knew it, the sun had gone down! Since I was already dressed up she says, "let's just take them in here, I think the lighting is okay. We'll just move the dinner table out of the way!"
LOL. Clearly she does not know the serious-ness of fashion blogs + pictures. We are judged harshly for the quality of our pix.
In this photo-set I also came to a realization that I have 0 talent for modeling (yes, it's a talent!!!) My model face = resting bitch face for LIFE.
I wish my resting bitch face was model-esque but it's totally not.
I laughed so hard when I saw these set of pix!! My question ALWAYS, "what else can we do that's different?" She was like, "sit on a chair.." She was trying to guide me on how to look good sitting down but clearly, the middle picture is NOT the biz.
(Also the living room in the background is not classy, I know..I know!)

In one of my first ask Karish posts, someone asked me how to be chic when the back of shirts are see through. When I initially answered that post, crop tops and sheer shirts weren't the norm. But now, all we basically see & know are sheer shirts, crop tops and open/see-through backs... the solution & now a must have, essential closet accessory: a variety of bralettes & bandeaus.
1. Bandeaus: These used to be my everything. I have like over 15 in all kind of colors & patterns. Sometimes when you want to go out and feel sexy with your sheer on, you can wear these under your shirt without having to wear a bra. For that extra sexiness you can wear a bra underneath the bandeau and show some clev. It also comes pretty useful for covering annoying strapless bra lines.
2. Bralettes: If you are wearing a shirt with a weird back, it naturally makes sense to wear a bralette that also has a weird back. Doesn't it? It's like organized chaos & looks kind of cool.
3. Lace bandeaus with straps: Firstly these are seamless hid all things that a bra would show. Also works as a crop top sometimes. You can buy them in the same colors that your shirt is in and people will think its just an insert for the shirt. Also the most COMFORTABLE piece on the board. Love these!!!!
4. Crop Tops: I've listed a variety of crop tops because crop tops usually cover the right amount of skin when wearing something sheer. It comes into play for sheer shirts that are worn in the daytime.
However, I really like sharing my lifestyle with yall.. & so this is why I do what I do.
This particular photo op was taken after a brunch at Perch (deliiish btw). I wanted a pic at the sign but there was construction going on in the background & my friend was like, "Karishma there is so much shit behind you this is not good for pictures!" And my response was, "I don't care! I want to remember this brunch place forever!"
When I take pictures like this with scenes in the background I have this moral dilemma: Should show you guys the scenery orr should I crop it all out to show you guys my 'fit. I am obsessed with city backgrounds so you can see what my choice was here.
